Interior Light Blinks

Following a power outage in December, the interior light in my Frigidaire Upright freezer, Model GLFH21F8HW, blinks each time the door is opened. The light does not seem as bright as before the problem started. The freezer was powered intermittently by a standby generator during the 4-day power outage.
