Dryer Is Not Drying

My frigidaire gallery GLEQ2152EEO runs but only for a few minutes.  While running it does not dry clothes and when it stops the lights on the panel light up and flash and the section which displays the time for the cycle reads "AD".  What could the problem be? Is it something my husband can fix or do we need to call a repairman?
