Frigidaire Top Loading Washer

my washer is sloshing water from the drum out the slot in the back making a  rivefr run through my house is it off balance or is there something that is missing that should be covering the slot

Hi salukichic – Not 100% sure which slot you are referring to, however if the water is leaking out of the rear tub, more than likely, the unit is not draining properly. Therefore, as the tub spins, the centrifugal force is driving the water up the sides of the tub.  At this point, I personally recommend consulting a certified technician for an accurate diagnosis and to assist with the repair(s).
