how and what tools do I need to adjust the door so it shuts properly.

If you have either a top mount or side-by-side refrigerator, you will possibly need the following tools:
- Philips head or Quadrex head screwdriver
- Socket wrench set or adjustable wrench
- Plastic putty knife
- Pliers
- Awl
However, the instructions on how to remove the door can be very extensive. Please try to refer back to your installed guide or manufacturer since the instructions consist of a whole page long.
