Problems With Frigidaire Model Frt125gw

Hello, Our Frigidaire unit appears to run warm. The freezer unit is OK, though a repair person suggested replacement of the fan (with no guarantee of a solution) in order to get the fridge unit working properly. He also mentioned numerous problems with this particular model.  Apparently the manufacturer will replace it if the unit falls within a particular serial number - ours does not (!!). Any suggestions? Thanks.
