Not Cooling

I own a brand new Frigidaire Model FPU12188LF and it is plugged in, lights are on, etc., but it is not cooling. Is it possible it's somehow stuck in defrost?  How do I fix it.  Don't want to wait a month for a repairman. . .

From what you have described, I believe you need you need to contact either your dealer location, the manufacturer or a service provider in your area for a diagnosis. On a new unit, it could be stuck on defrost but if it is a new unit, they are typically auto-defrost and would not have this happen so soon. You may need to reset the unit at the household circuit breaker, and then go from there. Do you hear anything running in the unit? Such as a fan or possibly larger equipment like the compressor? If you hear something running, you have a problem with the coolant and freon. If you don't hear anything running there are more concerns with the sealed system components. My opinion - contact Frigidaire.
