The "ER" code displayed on your dishwasher does typically indicate a shorted out control panel. This can happen by excess moisture getting into the control area. Allow your appliance dry for 24 hours with no use, and see if the display error code erases itself. If it does not, you may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. If you don’t know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you.
