Do you have any issue with the oven or broiler lighting? If you don't then you most likely have a valve or regulator issue with the top burners. If you do have an issue with the rest of the unit the entire gas connection and valve to the unit might need repair. Contact a professional when it comes to gas units for safety and accuracy.
