Metal Panel/cover. Frigidaire Model Fpes3085kfg

What is the wiring behind the small steel panel at the bottom left in the back?  There are some small wires - maybe these are grounding related?  I had to remove the cover to move the stove back to the wall as the plug/outlet and this panel were lined up on the same side and preventing the unit from sliding all the way back leaving a gap in the countertop near the wall.  I taped the small thin wires to the back of the stove over their plastic skin and believe they are flat and do not touch the outlet or plug when pushed all the way back.  All seems to be functioning properly, but I cannot tell from the manual, what the panel was for nor the wires. Thank you.

Most units have a terminal block in that area of the unit and it tends to have a grounding wire(s) and then wires connected to the rest of the unit for a full circuit relay.
