Are you trying to change the handle completely to a new and different style handle, or just replace it with the same type of handle due to damages or appearance? The handle can be replaced however more often than not you have to take apart the door lining and layers to get to the screws that hold the unit in. You may also see if your unit's handle has any plastic cover on top of it that may snap or slide off. Some times manufacturers will hide the screws in the handle under plastic parts.
