Top Freezer -- Model #fght2064qf

My refrigerator door requires a significant amount of effort to pull the door open -- so much so that the refrigerator itself moves forward. Is there any way to adjust this to make the pull easier?? I sprayed the door gaskets with silicone spray -- but it did not make any difference. It appears there must be strong magnets pulling the door closed. Can these be modified?

This is governed by the door seals and a 'hard to open' door normally indicate a defect door seal (cracks or gaps).

You can make this fix yourself. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76tA9RdCtS4.
