Frigidaire Dishwasher Fghd2433kf Will Not Drain

Often when a dishwasher does not drain, it is because the drain hose may be clogged or you have a faulty drain pump. First, I recommend cleaning the glass trap that is located in the center of the unit designed to collect pieces of broken straws, bones, glass, etc. The filter can be removed for cleaning by simply grasping the handle and then lifting it out. However, if you continue to have water left in the sump and the dishwasher is making a grinding noise, then it is recommended that the drain motor be diagnosed. You can locate a certified technician directly through the manufacturer website or in your local directory.
