What causes veggies to freeze in bottom of refrig?

Hi there cindymorgan4824! Thank you for allowing me to assist you this afternoon. In any refrigerator appliance, the bottom area (to include shelves and drawers) are the coldest. This is where your dairy and meat products need to be stored to ensure proper temperature is kept. However, if you are utilizing the crisper pan drawers of this unit you may want to adjust the humidity controls on each drawer and watch for a change. I would also suggest having the items in a plastic bag or container to help ensure the items are not frozen while being kept in the drawer. If changing the temperature of the drawer does not change the freezing experience - try to change the refrigerator temperature overall up a degree or two and watch for a change.
