Should There Be A Layer Of Ice Under The Crisper Drawers?

Removed crisper drawers to clean & found a 'glacier' of ice in the space beneath them. Started chipping it out but then wondered if it should be there. Please help.

No it's not normal but with a bottom freezer its more likely. the opening of the frig doors lets warm air in causing condesation from surfaces near the bottom. Check the door seals for a firm seal & limit as much is possible the door open & close time.
