Good Morning Mannenno2,

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FPHB2899LF, dispensing ice.

First check to see if there are ice cubes that might be stuck together in the bin. If there are, you can either break them up or discard the whole bucket of ice.

Secondly, check to make sure that both doors are completely closed. If you are still not receiving ice with the doors closed, make sure that the dispenser lock out is not engaged. If it is press and hold the control lock for 3 seconds.

Thirdly, make sure that there is no ice that has melted and frozen around the auger. If the auger is frozen, remove the ice container, thaw, and empty the contents. Clean container, wipe dry, and replace in proper position. When new ice is made, dispenser should operate.

If none of the above solutions have aided in the dispensing of the ice, try resetting your refrigerator by either unplugging it or shutting it off at your home’s circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. When you restore power, give the ice maker 1-2 hours to produce ice. If your refrigerator is still not dispensing ice, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine what is causing the dispenser to not dispense ice. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-
