Inside Light Is Flickering In My Ffu17f5hw Frigidaire Freezer.

The light bulb is not loose but flickers dimmly when door is open. There also seems to be a soft tinkly noise accompanying the blinking but not sure if it is related. Bulb appears to be ok. Concerned that the blinking bulb is a warning of impending failure.

jrjohns1939,

With the light flickering inside your freezer, it could be a couple of possibilities.
1) The light itself could be getting ready to stop working.
2) The electrical current going to the freezer could be causing the light to flicker.

I would check with the power company to see if the power going to your home is having any issues. If not, it is more than likely the bulb itself that would need replacing.
I hope that this has helped.

-Best Regards-
