The F31 error code indicates a shorted oven temperature sensor probe or a shorted sensor circuit. The normal troubleshooting for this type of failure involves unplugging the range and checking the resistance of the oven temperature sensor probe using a volt/ohm meter.

Press the "Bake" button- you want to hold onto the button for about 6 seconds. You will notice the display reading 0 upon the expiry of the 6 seconds.
