Model Lad704tdl Dehumidifier Bought In 2010.
Unit still runs even when you turn off the fan and take out the bucket and is a little louder than usual what is going on?

Hi!The dehumidifier does have an auto-shut off once the desired humidity level is reached. You will continue to hear the fan running so that air can pass over the sensor coils to check the air for humidity levels. Once the levels increase and the air is being moved over the coils, the dehumidifier will start running again. You will notice the dehumidifier will be louder when you empty the bucket as the bucket will be hollow cylinder-like object. As water is collected the noise will decrease.
