Hi weasiva,

I understand that your dehumidifier is running but not taking in any water. I know of a few things that you can check.
-- Check the grill or filter to see if it's dirty. If it is use brush attachment of
vacuum cleaner to clean grill.
-- Make sure your dehumidifier has sufficient clearance to operate.
-- The Appliance will not operate satisfactorily if the room temperature is below 41°F (5°C), so make sure the room temperature is not to cold.

Lastly, if all of the previous recommendations do not help your dehumidifier to start taking in water, you may need a certified tech to come out and pinpoint what exactly is keeping it from taking in water. Alternatively, you can go onto the manufacturer website to locate a servicer in your area.
