Why Is The Frigidaire Dehumidifier Filling Bucket When On Continuous Mode

Hello saKnut, that’s a great question! I see that your Frigidaire dehumidifier is collecting water while on continuous mode. Therefore, you must be using the hose for continuous draining. To learn what may be occurring with your drain hose, do the following:
It is recommended to use a garden hose that is no longer than 4 feet and should have a diameter of approximately ½ inches.
The hose itself could possibly be clogged. I recommend cleaning the hose and verify that there aren’t any kinks.
The hose itself might have possibly come loose. If it has come loose and water is collecting in the tray then you might want to make sure that the hose is connected tightly and facing downhill.
Should these suggestions prove ineffective, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer to determine the coverage on your dehumidifier and the procedures to any potential remedy in that regard. Best of luck!
