Good Morning bollYOUSAF, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

Often when a dehumidifier is not collecting water, it is because there is either low humidity in the room or possible sealed system issues. The unit is like a refrigerator that consists of an evaporator and the air is pulled across it. When the moist air is pulled across the evaporator, the water droplets in the air are condensed back to liquid form and that is when it begins to build water. So, more than likely the compressor is not running or there is a leak in the sealed system not allowing the evaporator to get cold enough to remove moisture from the air. In some cases depending in where the unit is located, sometimes there is no moisture in the air. Because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than the actual unit replacement. You may want to check and see if your dehumidifier is still under warranty and if so, reach out to the manufacturer to determine the exact warranty coverage.

Best of luck!
