My Dryer Will Not Start Keeps Going Straight To Pause

Hi darbyandJoyce – Often this happens because the dryer door is not securely latch or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing “PAUSE/CANCEL” or “START/PAUSE” once to resume cycle. If the issue persists, try reprogramming the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the unit back on. If issue persists, then more than likely the unit has a faulty door latch, a communication error with the control board, or a potential wiring failure. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the dryer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.
