The Electric Parking Brake replaces the conventional manual hand or foot operated brake that has been used in years past. To engage the Electric Parking Brake, simply pull up on the switch located on the center console, and a parking brake indicator light will be illuminated on the instrument cluster to confirm that the parking brake has been set. In order to release the Electric Parking Brake, push the switch down and the parking brake indicator light will no longer be illuminated.
