2006 Expedition Check Engine Light On
Filed rough and died at one point, then started and roughness went away after a couple miles. Loss power in the accelerator at one point but it came back. Check engine light on code shows timing issue. Dealer took valve cover off and states there is scoring on cam bearings. What should I do next? Oil pump?

What did the dealer suggest, unless the oil pump is not operating to specs. then that will not solve the scored bearings. You may want to get a second opinion fom another dealer or a trusted local repair shop. I don't suggest putting off taking action because if the bearings seize you'll have much greater engine damage. i wish you the best!
