Gas Tank Replacement
I have had to replace my 2006 Ford Escape gas tank and it has been with the dealer for over a month now. I called a Ford Rep. and they say that my original gas tank is obsolete and the current one is being phased out. So the dealer says that they have found a used one. I don't think this should happen on a 6 year old car. Ford should do a recall as the Rep. said they are experiencing problems with the tank. What can I do to get compensated? I am still paying Ford Credit and have 12 more months to go.
