Find another auto repair shop or check the following things yourself:

1) Check the serpentine belt that drives the alternator. If it is loose, replace the belt tensioner. If ithe belt looks glazed or worn, replace it.

2) Remove the alternator and have Autozone (or another auto parts store) bench test it for you. If it's bad, buy a new one.

3) If you have a good battery, alternator and serpentine belt, check for a power drain. My first guess would be the brake lights are staying on after you park the car. Another guess would be that you are leaving the keys in the car and keeping it in the "ON" position. That will drain your battery in no time flat.
