It is easy. Just remove the screw that secures the side view mirror to the door using a Phillips head screwdriver. Then throw away the gasket that was between the mirror and the door.Clean both the mirror mounting surface and the mounting area on the door with dish soap and water allowing to them to air dry.Place a new gasket over the mounting surface on the door and reposition the mirror to the car. Finally rescrew the mirror to the car and you are DONE!
