Ticking When Gas Pedal Pressed

I have a 2001 ford crown Victoria police intercepter & everytime I press the gas pedal the car starts ticking it only happens when I press gas pedal when I first start it it's fine but as soon as I hit the gas it starts ticking why is it doing this

Most likely a velve ticking as a results of low oil level.
