Whats The Deal

emgines losing power while the check engine light is blinking and bad vibrations while stopped...gets worse about 45 mph...what can it be?

I would replace the crankshaft position sensor first. Your symptoms can all be caused by this sensor going bad. It is located either behind or next to the crankshaft pulley (harmonic balancer). I have added a photo of your exact sensor, so you will know what to look for.

A dirty fuel filter would also cause the problems you describe, but I would go with the crank sensor first and then do a fuel filter if that doesn't solve the problem.
