My Heater Is Not Working

The fan operates and all the controls seem to be operating but, I can't tell what allows the water to flow to the heater radiator or even if the water is flowing to it. I can see two different sets  of  what seem to be sensor wires that are conected to what appear to be sensors on the heater hoses but not sure what they do. What might be my problem?

The problem is the Blend Door Motor. This is located in behind the dash.

The parts range in price between $30 and $80, Labor about $400!. I would like all Ford Ranger owners between '01 and '11 to email me with a letter of complaint regarding this door and a bill showing the cost of the repair.
