1997 Ford Harness Change

i change the wiring harness of the engine  of my friend car  becouse it was burn the car was running now it dont whant to star no noise at all i got power to the main fuses out and inside the car but thers   a grey and black cable that  connects to the stater it dosen't do nothing thank for you're time
