Ford Bronco 96 5.0l What Is The Design Lamba Value During Operation ?

Kind Folks at Ford USA :I'd appreciate a litte assistance from you with regards to a local problem :I also operate a 96 Ford Bronco 5.0l, 1FMEU15NSTLB51855 in Cadiz, Spain. The local technical inspection station now claims that a lambda value of 1.5 at 2500 rpm / no load is completely wrong, and I should have my lambda sensors checked. Those guys only know Fiat Pandas and Peugeot xyz - obviously they have never even heard of a secondary air injection ( thermactor) system. My HEGO's are two years old, mileage is around 80,ooo, no OBDII error code evident ....but no choice on my side to convince them that all is in order. As I would hate to have to retire a perfectly well running vehicle due to total stupidy , would a statement from Ford USA along the lines ....a lambda value greater 1 for this vehicle is correct and as per design due to the secondary air injection system.... be feasible in order to convince those fine specialists ?Any help would be greately appreciated.Kind Regards,Detlef FroeseNB.: I have tried to go through Ford Spain - no answer in more than three weeks :-(
