What Part Is It

on the bottom of the tranny im missing a circular piece i can see the gears put im transmission fluid is full what is that piece im missing

Was the piece stuck to the tranny pan? Thats a magnet used to keep metal shavings from being circulated back into the transmission. Its usually circular with a hole in the center kinda like a doughnut.
