Air Bag Rear Safing Impact Sensor Location

Airbag light flashing 22 on my dash.indicating  shorted rear safing sensor shorted according to trouble codes. I cannot find location of sensor to check it.Supposed to be behind left kick panel on drivers side,but is not?Google information is incorrect.Car was manufactured in Canada so maybe this is the problem.Any information would be greatly appreciated.HARRY
