Left Handed Ixl

How can a left-handed child use the iXL writing area.  The stylist is set up for right only.  When the unit is turned to write with left hand, it turns upside down images.  Are there left-handed software?

My granddaughter is left handed and she uses the iXL just fine. The stylus is attached in the middle so it will go to either hand. She is 3 and she will not put it down!
