Trying To Add A New Primary Email Address- There Is No Selection For Add/change

The instructions are to edit my email and click on add/change button. It is not appearing on my screen to select. Any ideas as to why and what else can I do?

Thanks for your reply, however, there is no add new email button on my account settings screen. I read the instructions prior to asking - there is NO way to select that function. I'm trying to find out if anyone knows why this is happening.

To add or edit your email addresses:

Click at the top-right corner of any Facebook page and choose Account Settings
Click General in the left-hand column and then click on the Email section
Click Add another email, enter in the new email address, and then click Save Changes
Confirm your password
Look for an email from Facebook to confirm your new email address

To choose which email address is PRIMARY, simply click on the radio button of the email address you want to set.

FYI - Adding a secondary email address is one way to protect yourself in case you ever lose access to the primary email address on your account.

Facebook also recommends reviewing the overall security of your account and updating your security information.

Consideration If you change your primary email address for Facebook, the apps with which you have shared your email address will send you emails at the new address unless you unsubscribe directly via the "unsubscribe" link on an email you have received from the app (usually at the bottom of the email).
