First thing to check is the date and time settings, Wrong date is the most common course of this error.
Uninstall the app, download and install the latest Facebook app , this will fix a lot of errors by the Facebook app.
Restart your device.

I'm sure that this error will not happen if you will log in to your Facebook account using another device.
