I Am Having Issues With Facebook Mobile Texting.

There is an option to stop receiving texts, on your phone, that come from someone who has sent you a facebook message, when you are logged into facebook. However, this is not working for me, even though I have chosen that option. I am still getting texts on my phone when I am logged into facebook on my computer. I cannot find any help for this on fb and of course they have no support. Can someone please help.
