Facebook Question Option

Facebook wont allow me to ask a question via the "Question" option on the home page. Ive tried different browsers and all but the option still does not show up for my account. Using the same browsers, if my friends login on my laptop, the option appears for their accounts but not for mine. Why is this? I haven't used to option a lot so I would not be spamming with it.

Facebook is beginning to shut down the “Questions” product. Sorry.
