If you forgot your password, Facebook won't show you what it is, but it will allow you to reset it. Go to Facebook.com and click the "Forgot Your Password?" link at the top. You can then follow the prompts to have an email sent to you that will allow you to reset your password. (You may have to wait a day to log in, however.)

If you know the correct password, you can just wait 24 hours and re-enter it then.
