I tried to upload video on Dec 27: file "Lanzarote Winter.avi", 10.5 MB, but the upload just froze solid for 10 - 20 mins, with nothing showing on progress bar, and no warning messages... so I had to cancel. Tried this again, maybe 3 or 4 times... the same.
Later, got a message saying "video upload blocked" apparently for copyright reasons, inviting me to fill a "counterclaim". I did this, but it wouldn't accept it, because I didn't include a "digital signature"... I don't have any such, and don't know where or how to get one. I haven't since been able to get this form back again, and don't know any way to find out why my uploading is blocked, or what to do about it.
There was only one video I tried to upload, and this consists entirely of my own photographs, with a sound track called "One Step Beyond" which is a standard Windows Vista .WMA file supplied by MS with the Vista OS under the folder "Public\Public Music", so I supposed that meant it was public to use.
However, if there is some problem with this movie, please let me know exactly what the objection is, then
OK, remove it... but this is no reason to block my uploads completely.
Please advise what to do...

Unfortunatly, Facebook is quite spammed. All the time Facebook finds ways to stop spammers, and spammers find ways to trick facebook. Due to that, ordinary users like us can get penalized. Especially new users. Those that have an account for several years won't get penalized that easily.
You can always verify your account by the phone number. That way, they will cut you a little slack.
Facebook implement a policy called "Acceptable use"
They can set limits to how often you can use a feature.
If you use it too often, they can stop you from using it for a while. Not only is this to stop you from spamming other users, it's there to provide protection to facebook (too many requests can bring the server to its knees, which means facebook goes down).
I suggest you wait for the feature to be unlocked (should only be a short while), and then tone it down on the usage. This includes reseting passwords and or changing any information like your email as well.

... check that you are using the latest version of a third party, we may remove that it may freeze during the uploading process or not appear at all. It is currently a problem with the progress bar that the video does not exceed the size or time limitations indicated on the site. For technical reasons, it appeared to upload a video.
