How To Update An Old Fb Page, Or Transfer Friends To A New Page

My old (current) FB page doesn't have a number of features include on the new pages. For example, there is no 'Edit Page' link, no tabs ('Wall', 'Info', etc.) and no box above the 'Information' header to enter information. Another odd thing is my FB URL is http://.www.facebook.com. I'd like to know what my options are: can I transfer all my friends to the new page, before deleting the old page, or is there an update for the page. Thanks in advance for the help Larry
