Unable To Add Email Add In Acc Settings. Screen Closes?

My email address is changing and I am trying to add new address but when going into Account Settings and clicking on edit email I am unable to add the address because the minute I click on New Email the screen goes back to the Accounts Setting screen. Please can someone help me. Thanks

In the profile edit section for email address, click on the circle next to the blank box. Don't add an email address yet. Click change and you will be prompted to enter your address. First enter your new email address in the email field, then enter your password. You should get a message saying that you have been sent a confirmation email
