I Am Trying To Combine My 2 Facebook Accounts I Have Under 2 Email Addresses.

Many years ago I opened a Facebook account under my then email address. I stopped accessing it after a short while. Then when I decided to use Facebook again, I forgot I already had an account, so I opened one up with my newer email address. I have had this for at least three years with no problem but recently my old account has been coming up instead of my new one and now I cannot access my current facebook profile at all. Please tell me the process for combining these accounts as I have too much information to start over. Thank you so much for your help!

Facebook does not allow you to merge accounts. You need to duplicate your profile content (photos, notes, etc.) and add it manually to your more active account. Unfortunately, there will be some things you cannot transfer, such as friends and Wall posts. Once you have moved all information onto a single account, you may deactivate your old account from the Settings tab of the Account page. Afterward, you can add email addresses and networks to your new account from the Account page.
