Security Codes: Cell Vs Desktop Log-in

I used to receive a security code text msg on my cell whenever I'd login from my cell. Recently, i have not been asked to enter a security code when i log-on from my cell. However, when I log-in from my desktop, I still receive a security code text msg on my cell. Why is the security code feature not working when I log -on from my cell?
