How Do I Remove Facebook Profile Pictures From The Internet?

I noticed when I type my name into Google, my Facebook profile picture shows up in image searches. How do I remove this? What settings do I change?

Facebook's privacy settings are broken down into many different categories. There is one setting that controls your profile being displayed for public searches. When you're logged into your account, click on the arrow in the upper right corner next to "Home" and select "Privacy Settings," then click on "Edit Settings" next to "Apps and Websites." Click "Edit Settings" next to "Public Search," and remove the check mark next to "Enable Public Search."

It may take a while for this option to take effect.
