Regarding Mutual Friends

i have 70 friends in my account. mutual friends appearing on face book account is zero. I am very unhappy with this. Please help me with necessary steps.

Hello gayathrig11 facebook mutual friends are your friends who have conncetd to other people in facebook but since you have conncetd to these people. Each time you come accross these people by opening their facebook page you get a message "Mutual Friend" which means they are connected to your friends.

Hi. Facebook continually has people they think you may know displayed on your account's home page > these people are either those who were found to be friends of your facebook friends, those who went to the same school you went to, etc > so if your facebook home page displays someone whom facebook thinks you may know only becase you he/she went to the same school you went to 'mutual friend' will be zero - why, becase that person is not a frind of any of your 70 frinds. However if a person is displayed as one you may know simply becase he is already a facebook friend of 5 of your facebook friend 'mutual friends' will be 5 - hence 'mutual friend' does not reflect the number of friend one has.
