Privacy Settings

In 2008 I created a facebook account. In 2008 I also deactivated my account. In 2011 my husband created a new facebook account and in 2011 I reactivated my already established account. We reviewed our privacy settings last night and I have a column that is not even an option on his page. I have "other" as a 4th column. His options are only "everyone", "friends only" and "friends of friends". Why do I have the "other column? What does "other" mean or who does it include and why doesn't my husband's account have "other" as an option? Thanks for your help!
