I Need To Know How Can I Protect My Privacy On Facebook Sharing Information.

Last night I saw something that I needed to share with family only and I was asked several question on facebook if I want to share with friends; or only an individual which I did select the two individuals from my family I needed to share this with. I selected share on a friends timeline and type the person's name in so that way It select the person who I wanted to share with. So when I type in their names it will automatically. I was then asked by facebook wasn't making me proceed so then I hit cancelled by then I thought it was voided but in fact it never did it went to all my facebook list of friends; what amaze me is that I got a replie from one of the friends about the picture I sent out which they weren't suppose to have receive this. Is there anyway facebook can rectify this problem? I don't like my privacy invaded like this it makes me not put my trust in facebook and it can really put someone in Big Trouble. I need something done about it.

Go to your privacy settings and modify everything to fit your privacy needs. If you're posting a status and you only want certain people to see, do the following:

1) Go to "Update Status"

2) On the gray part, there's a "Custom" tab/drop down button. Select "custom" under that

3) It then says "Make this visible to..." Under the "These people or lists menu, select "Specific people or list".

4) In the box, start typing the names of the people who you want to see it.

5) Click "Save Changes"

Continue to post your status.

If you do not hit save changes, everybody will see it.
