How Can I Join Facebook Without Having A Text Message Sent To A Mobile Phone. I

received a passcode to join sent by HP printer.  However when I entered www.facebook.com/device as directed by HP, Facebook login directs me to enter my phone number to receive their passcode sent by text to phone.  I don't have a mobile phone.  Also I do not know how to download a copy of my dirver's license without a scanner if this is the only other way to join.

You don't need a mobile phone or a driver license. All you need is an email address. Details here.

you dont have to have a phone number to join facebook. the only reason they ask that is for passwords that are lost, you can enter the number and they will text you a code. to join just go to the homepage and fill out name, DOB, sex and email address and youre set.....im not sure how this is unhelpful, it flat out says YOU DONT NEED TO PUT IN A MOBILE NUMBER TO JOIN FACEBOOK
